Samsung Electronics wants a court order to force Apple Inc. to disclose there under development models of iPhone and iPad, claiming it needs the information to defend against allegations of copying.
Samsung wants to see the under development models of iPhone and iPad to “evaluate whether a likelihood of confusion exists” between Samsung and Apple products both go on sale about the same time. Samsung is asking Apple to turn over the samples by June 13.
This controversy comes after one month when Apple asked the court to order the South Korean company to disclose unreleased Samsung products, according to the filing. The whole controversy start when Apple claimed Samsung’s Galaxy products “slavishly” copied iPad and iPhone technology and designed in this April, then legal dispute signed between the two companies and Samsung this request is part of a this legal dispute.
After Apple’s lawsuit, Samsung countersued the Cupertino company in Seoul, Tokyo, Mannheim, Germany and the U.S.
